Market on Dragones Street in Chinatown
Every city has one and Havana is no exception. Behind the Capitolio, west of Prado you will find a collection of Oriental markets, delicious reasonably-priced restaurants and some very interesting streets.
Food is the MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR with restaurants. Good service, pleasant surroundings, ambiance, etc are nice but really, it's the food. The food at Huang Hu is delicious, amply portioned, well served and inexpensive. No doubt due to the vigilance of the owner and one of the wonderful waitresses, pictured wearing the red shirts to your right.
