Playa Santa Maria was one of the first beaches I visited in Cuba. I couldn't
believe it. White sand, lots of Cubans (it was August) and an ambiance
which reminded me of Brazil. Years later and it still is one
of my favorites.
(Playa Santa Maria is in the town of Guanabo, just 20 minutes from downtown Havana)
